Therapeutic Counselling
Thank you for visiting my website, I hope you find it useful in your search for the right counsellor for you. It is important to find the ‘right fit’, to help you and see if you want to work with me. I am very happy to have chat via telephone before making any commitment to booking a counselling session.
Many of us benefit from talking therapy at times in our lives, the chance to be heard without judgement or agenda, an opportunity for us to reflect together, understand ourselves and make better sense of our world.
My goal is always to facilitate such change. I love my work and while I take my clients and what they bring seriously, I understand too how challenging it can be. I hope the counselling process is both an enlightening and enjoyable process for us both.

Therapy
A Warm Welcome
I offer a warm and relaxed environment, with empathic understanding, without judgment, with a genuine interest and confidentially.
We have the option to walk and talk along the quiet footpaths, maintained by the North Wales Wildlife Trust, in the Flintshire/Denbighshire countryside. The relaxed walk shoulder to shoulder works well for some.
As well as my extensive work with young people, some of the other issues I have worked with are Bereavement, Anxiety, Workplace Stress, Abuse, Anger Management, Men and their Emotions, Depression, Panic Attacks, Low Self-Esteem and Identity.
I look forward to hearing from you and the possibility of us working together.

Carl Rogers 1902-1987, The Founder of Person Centred Therapy
“We think we listen, but very rarely do we listen with real understanding, true empathy. Yet listening, of this very special kind, is one of the most potent forces for change that I know.”
“People only seriously consider change when they feel accepted for exactly who they are.”
“In my relationships with persons I have found that it does not help, in the long run, to act as though I were something that I am not”
“It is the client who knows what hurts, what directions to go, what problems are crucial, what experiences have been deeply buried…”
